Hacking Looking to play DS games on 3DS

I have bought a sky3ds+ and its amazing. .. 11.3 so cant go to CFW or whatever

Now I'm wanting to play DS games, and maybe GBA without homebrew and CFW.. also easyier for my neices and cousins to use... What would be the best card to get?


Edit: Also since i cant make two posts ... Can i update my Trimmed Pokemon sun game? or do i have to leave it as is..

Buy a DS2+, it can play DS, GBA, and SNES games without CFW. Note that they'll be rendering at the DS's lower resolution, so they won't look as good as if they were VC injects, but it's all you can do.

Normally r4i Gold 3DS would be the recommendation, but it's DS roms only, no GBA. This situation might've changed with gbaemu4ds, but IDK how far along that project is.

And I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with Australia's economy to tell you what a good price is, but you should buy from an official reseller from Supercard's website or nds-card.com (this site's sponsor) to avoid being scammed.

Yes, 11.3 is supported, Nintendo doesn't block DS flashcarts anymore.

now that i got the 3ds sorted "until cfw is updated" , is there a equivlent website for PSP 3000? "if you know one" need to learn about CFW for that..

By the way, it would be cheaper to buy another console on a lower firmware than have a Sky3DS ($100) and a DSTwo ($50).

Yeah i was thinking about that.. but its too late, plus this sky 3ds seems easy to use for kids .. i think my 3ds xl is all IPS screens aswell... not sure .. but its such a hassle to buy another system, transfer my data, and sell my old system at a loss

It doesn't look like it has 3D mode.. and not sure if it can play PS1/PSP games like a PSP

it can most definitely play ps1 & psp games... without question! And no, it does NOT have a 3d effect mode as the N3ds XL.

I looked into it, and Its quite large compared to a PSP 3000 , but for the most part, it doesn't have pushin in analog buttons. I'm not sure if anything has :/ , those are needed for ps1 and ps2 games , I dont like the added l1 l2 separate buttons

yes, there you are correct... L3/R3 are separate buttons on the GPD XD. Luckily, it does NOT affect gameplay that much for certain ps1 games. Also, it does emulate Saturn & Dreamcast games too... but NOT ps2.. ps2 is too much of a demanding system that requires beefed up hardware, etc.

Again, check it out, research... best I can tell you from someone that has owned an XD in the past... one of the best handhelds out there, period.

Well I'm contacting them to see if they can make a 2017 edition , maybe use that 3D screen since there are tons of manufacturers making them.. and the chinese can do back door deals to get a hold of them , + the push button analog stick, + another screen +Faster Sd card slot
Said i don't care if its thicker and larger, it will be better

Went to buy a Blue xl 3ds for my sister since local stock is 11.2 ... went to two stores and both of them where TN panels ;-; , one even had backlight bleed ...
