Has anyone here seen the setup for Sega Cd? I am just not sure if I can just upload my scd bios and then iso, or if it needs to be bin/cue. Then Which one would be the one to load it, Gplus or Pico?
Not seen a youtube vid that shows that one or a post yet. Thanks.

I see what you mean ! Am going to do that now..Thanks man!

Lets change the mini one. I assume you grabbed the folder from this link. Once you do that all you do is click bin and it will show mame2003. Change that name to something else like mamemini. And then reinstall mod and change path in game to mamemini and reinstall mame2003 and have those games you want with that core to use that bin. https://github.com/DSkywalk/retroarch-clover/tree/master/core_modules_extra/mame2003_mini.hmod

Ok just tested a few things N64 wise that has some bugs

(All are not in a zip file, so unless I had to do other settings for that whole not compressed thing?)
Gauntlet 64, sadly doesnt load at all, Hell just locks the NES up, hitting power button = C8 Error message. (So unless someone else can try and confirm if Gauntlet WOULD work?)
Rampage 64, Plays, but then after a short time, will just close out back to NES menu selection.

F-Zero, Works
Xena, Plays, just stutters some. However try to hit the NES Reset button will cause it to lock up, then C8 Error.

That's 64 emulating at its finest bro but did you uncheck compression in hakchi before you uploaded the game?

Now uninstall old mame mini folder hmod. Put the new mamemini folder in user mods. And delete your old one in your user mods .And then reinstall new mini mod and change path in game to mamemini and reinstall mame2003 and have those games you want with that core to use bin mame2003 https://github.com/DSkywalk/retroarch-clover/tree/master/core_modules_extra/mame2003_mini.hmod

Good stuff. I'm gunna keep pushing the MAME2003_mini core because it seems like the best core for Arcade/NeoGeo. It's been rock solid for me, playing Metal Slug 1 & 2 w blood, several others as well.. I have turtles 2-player along w sunset riders 2-player.

Guys give David Skywalker's MAME2003_mini core a shot, can't recommend it enough. I also have the full spreadsheet of supported MAME2003_mini
games w filesname, full game name, parent rom (if needed), bios, revision, date of production, & manufacturer. IF ANYONE NEEDS IT JUST PM ME! :grog:

I seriously doubt that I'm ever going to get an NES Classic. Just can't find one anywhere. I was just wondering...what does "compress non NES games (for additional emulator mod) mean ?

And I assume that pcsx_rearmed.hmod runs playstation games ?

I am running Metal Slug 1 & 2 with mame2000, and 3 with mame2003_mini. I couldnt get 1 &2 running at all at the time with any other core. I searched and installed mame2003_mini which works with Metal Slug 3. But now all my other games that used mame2003 dont work..lol..am going to try fba core for them instead.
Limited days off work and time..lol..

Why not patch the game yourself ? There are .IPS files out there you can use and either use Winips (to patch one .IPS file to a game) or Floating IPS (to patch more than one .IPS file to each game).

Patch the game, then load it into Hakchi.

Because if I know that I wouldn't be asking for sure.

Anyway I'll check it out.

MAME2003_mini plays Metal Slug 1 & 2. Personally verified by me.

I want to be able to use a Neo Geo gamepad with the NESC, how can I accomplish said task? Is their either:

1) An adapter I can use w an original Neo Geo game pad?
2) A custom or limited (think Club Nintendo SNES) controller that's pretty identical?

I can put some videos of NeoGeo games playing in MAME2003 Minimized by D_Skywalk

Also I made a Tutorial in Spanish with English Titles to make all the necessary steps (including BIOS or games)

But now I was fighting to add a BIN+CUE for again make a video to show to all that Sega/Mega CD Audio Tracks works on Mini NES Classic... Also at the beginning of the video can see a Snatcher with MP3 but appears that works but no sound... maybe some dev can solve it.

Tomorrow I will make a Tutorial(Spanish/English as the last ones I did) for all less @Mysticales , because he has many experience with Sega CD... GENS ;)

Please, enjoy!

I can't get Famicom Kid Dracula to load/work. My other Famicon games like Crisis, Contra, Castlevania III, etc work fine. I don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

I am sure that Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun works. I going to sleep but if nobody answer you, I will tell you how.

The steps are the same. The firmware is the only thing that is different for the pro version. You need to update the firmware for both the receiver and controller.

See here:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/hakchi2-nes-mini-very-simple-pimp-tool.456256/page-320#post-7128622

I have updated the firmware for both the recievers and controllers. The problem is when I try to map the X,Y, L and R buttons. They are set to turbo A,B on these controllers and I don't know how to get past that

So I just used the reciever firmware from that post you linked to (V1.50 beta0) and it is working now. So if anyone else runs into this issue try using the latest firmawre for the controller (V 3.00) and the reciever firmware from that post.

Thanks for all the help!!

So by swapping out mame2003 with mame2003_mini, that saves about 19MB of space. Does that mean it's safe to add an additional 19MB of ROMs, even if I go beyond 300MB? If it worked at 300MB + 24MB, then it should work with 319MB + 5MB, right?
