Homebrew (Guide) Making SoundHax Load Faster

Hai There!
I see you want to make SoundHax boot faster...
Well, Here ya go!

How to make SoundHax load faster:
1: Get SoundHax if you don't already. You can download the file here.

2:Load up 3DS Sound and make a recording.
Just make sure there is a bubble in any of the squares (Preferably not the first one if you have other sound you'd like to access again)

3: Copy SoundHax to SD:\Nintendo 3DS\Private\00020500\voice\01.
It may be slightly different, but there should be a .m4a file already there.

4: Name your SoundHax file to the name of an existing file.
Mine ended up being named "V01423" (W/O quotes, duh)

Now all you have to do is tap the SoundHax bubble, and it will load HBL.

This will allow you to load SoundHax before Nintendo 3DS Sound searches your entire SD Card.
(This is extremely helpful for people like me who have a crap ton of stuff on their SD Card)
How to customize the look of your SoundHax bubble:

Spoiler

Slot = 00-18 V01423
Color = 0-5 (0 = red, 1 = orange, 2 = yellow, 3 = green, 4 = blue, 5 = purple) V01423
Level of the "liquid" = 0-4 V01423
Form = 1-3 (1 = round, 2 = spiky, 3 = rounded corners) V01423

and if you want to "hide" SoundHax on another page, just choose another folder (instead of voice/01, choose voice/02 for page 2 and so on).

It's more like [SPOILER="Words"}Insert words[/SPOILER] Just with a normal bracket instead of a curly

On topic though, this seems so much more optimal than what we were told to do.. I wonder if nedwill just set stuff up the way he did for the noobs

Yeah, If you have the soundhax file in slot 00, load up 3ds sound, press A, You're in. I will also be adding customization options for the colors later today

All the player in "Record & Edit Sounds" does is look in a specific directory in the SD, which means it will show up instantly instead of after it's done shuffling through the SD Card. It appears to just play the sounds as it does in the SD search, because it loads up SoundHax very reliably. The files for the SD recorder just sit in a specific directory on the SD, so you could technically put any m4a file there.
