How can you access the (black) settings menu in MAME2003 core to change Dip Switches settings ? I only have a original NESC controller at the moment.

You likely won't be able to with an original controller. I'm using the my arcade gamepad pro (wireless) and it is the R2 (shoulder button) to access the menu you're talking about.

For the part that @LuckY07 used ssrdrebc.zip vs ssrdrubc.zip just means he used the European rom version and I used the USA rom version that is all.
I posted earlier on page 378:

Letters at end of some Arcade Roms
AAA = Asia
EAA = Euro
EAB = Euro
JAA = Japan
JAB = Japan
UAB = USA
UBC = USA

For getting the correct filenames that Mame2003 core uses I would go off of this list that was provided from @LuckY07: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet..._0ZuvRVEMqlfQyTVetnOJvuJc/edit#gid=1744967714
If you look at the first column, filename, that should be the one you are looking for Mame2003 to read when you add the games with hakchi.

So from the list, I noticed that mame2003 reads the 2-player tmnt2 as tmnt22p and not tmnt22pu (most places will be seeing this version of the 2-Player rom). I would reference that spreadsheet to confirm things will work.

I hope that helps.
So I added 4 mame games. Tmnt and tmnt2 and sunset riders and simpsons arcade. Synced them on and all worked. Then synced them with rest of my games and made a folder for mame with the 4 in it. And now tmnt just won't boot. It goes to black screen and comes back to dashboard. Other 3 work tho. It's gayyyyy.

Good to see some love for golf games. Don't miss out on Mario Golf: Advance Tour and NES Open Tournament Golf. The original NES game Golf is fun too. I have those loaded up plus Neo Turf Masters. "ON THE GREEEEEEEEN!"

Problem with Mario Golf GBA is that it's 10MB zipped. It doesn't compress nearly as well as other games.

Anyone able to get the L & R buttons working on the MyArcade Gamepad Pro on SNES games? I have found that if I map the L & R to the ZL and ZR from a classic controller, the ZL and ZR on the MyArcade controller will work. But no matter what I do I can't seem to get the regular L & R working on the My Arcade controller

Sorry if already asked: Is it possible to save new inputs for MAME games with Retroarch? (When I get out of the game changes are reset)

Which core are you using for Turf Masters. I downloaded mame rom and used mame2003 core and I only get black screen.

I mapped them to the smaller shoulder buttons. Bigger shoulder buttons wouldn't map for me either.

I'm getting an erro that says "send message to me" but can't upload the pic. I had quite a few games on my NES until recently when I tried to add more and now getting errors I never had before. Now can't load any more games. Any help?

Having a blast running SNES games on this thing. Has anyone had success with Seiken Densetsu 3? I'm seeing lots of garbled sprites in the menu screen. Using Snes9x05 core.

Always use the fbalpha2012_neogeo core for Neo Geo games. And with the latest version, place the neogeo.zip BIOS file in user_mods\fbalpha2012_neogeo.hmod\etc\libretro\system directory.

Don't miss out on Mario Golf: Advance Tour

thanks for the advise

Thanks for the tip. So now I'm building the neogeo hmod and I have to put the info file into the info folder.

How do you download this .info? or do you just click on it and copy and paste all the content into the folder?

I had errors as well loading games I added in Hakchi. I have ccleaner on my laptop. I found I had to reboot my laptop to clear the memory, then use ccleaner to clean out caches and such. Now when I do that, I have better loading within Hakchi. Only errors I get are my own fault trying to play games that arent setup properly..lol..
