Hardware Switch save data untransferrable

Apparently there's no way of transferring save data. I guess this is an anti piracy measure? Now I'm worried I'll lose my progress if I were to accidentally damage my switch while playing away from home. T.T I should stop pre ordering things without research but the hype clouds my judgement.

I know it sucks but its still early.
ONce nintendo releases the paid online im sure they will add in online save backup.
because come on they gotta do something to get everyone to pay for online.

Heh, the more obstacles Nintendo puts up, the more things they say "Hey, you can't do that" is just more enticing for hackers to come in and tear down walls.

Nintendo: "You can't transfer saves!"
Hackers: "Hold my beer..."
I was just thinking that. I'd like to see this system cracked. I'd like to be able to backup saves as well as capture gameplay footage without using a card.

yeah, agree, like they do with the ps4 and its cloud based save location. pretty sure nintendo will do the same down the line
