1080 Ti is just anounced
It's gonna sell for 699$
Has a 35% performance increase over the Gtx 1080

So was wondering who's gonna get one ?
I know i'm gonna get a custom 1080TI when it's out

Might as well paste the second paragraph as well:
The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti achieves this feat through its implementation of 3,584 CUDA Cores, and 11GB of next-gen GDDR5X Video Memory (G5X VRAM) running out of the box at 11 Gbps. Even faster than the G5X memory on the GeForce GTX 1080 and NVIDIA TITAN X, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti's blisteringly-fast G5X memory further increases memory bandwidth and takes performance to new heights.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

and the memory is only 352-bit compared to the typical 384-bit on high end cards.

11gb and it has a higher clock then the titan x and most websites state it even beating the titan x. Nvidia also claimed it's the best card they ever made.
Anyway i'm getting one when it comes out.

Ehh unless you're on GTX700 and below, don't probably get one. Unless you're really aiming for 4k 60fps, don't waste your money. 1440p is crushed by the 1070 and the 1080Ti is the go to for 4k. The 1080 sits in a weird place probably for done 21:9 resolution

Well i'm still gaming on my 980 TI wich crushes the 1070 when overclocked and was waiting for the 1080TI. There wasn't any point to upgrade from the 980 Ti to anything less then the 1080 TI.

Okay so, I was very confused for a moment there. I thought you were talking about this:

I hadn't realized they made anything higher than an 84+, let alone 1080....

I'll probably wait for AMD's vega. If it doesn't do as well as the 1080ti, I'll pick up a (hopefully) cheaper, used, 1080ti then.

I wait for amd, the 1080 ti is a beast no doubt

Probably so that titan x owners won't feel screwed over.
Lol that won't help, I don't get it why would someone pay 1400$ for a gpu.

If you're patient, it's the best to wait for vega or for 1080 ti custom versions.

Gonna get the 1080 Ti custom card and gonna get a Ti vega afterwards

My dad uses that computer for work.
He said he can borrow it to me while he doesn't use it.
The computer i'm using barely supports Terraria.
