Hardware My new 3ds xl is dead?

Hi, so my new 3DS just died on me. It won't charge, or power on or anything, even LED lights won't come on. I opened it up and the board is basically pristine, no water damage at all. I know it's not the battery since I just changed it, or the charger since it works on my other 3DSs, I even Goh the new charging doc and no results. I'm just really confoosed

Btw I have some basic knowledge on soldering too, but the thing is I just can't locate the problem. Help!

Yep it does, even fully charged it on another system.

Basic troubleshooting. I always try to eliminate the chance of a faulty battery. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it can't be faulty. Although it sounds like you may have either blown a fuse your something it wrong with your charger port

If you try running the system without battery and of the charger, does it start then?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the charger port really, I used a dock to be sure too. But maybe the fuses blowing is a possibility. How do I go about checking the fuses?

Do you have the 3DS in bits? If so, can you take photos of the motherboards front and back?
