Sorry if it gets asked often (couldnt find an answer)
What is the actual status of the cores, like, which does run well and which doesn't.

Mostly interested in psx (does it got dynarec by now?)
And N64 (saving doesn't work on injected games because the memory pack doesn't gets emulated)

PSX and dynarec isn't gonna happen for a very long time, if ever, I wouldn't hold your breath. Lack of interest mostly. Memory pack emulation not being implement is laziness mostly.

psx still with no dynarec and no n64 emulator at all and you can enable the memory pack on n64 injects just fine you only need to add a line in the ini lol, not like its even needed since you can just use the save state lol.

Some games freak out like Mystical Ninja 64, crashing the console lol.

that is basicaly the only game that does that and if you do the same config on latest vcs i remenber its fixed now. but like i said controller pak is kinda useless when you have save states lol.

I've deleted all config files before testing, and don't forget neogeo.zip is placed in the same roms directoty.

thanks, efen!

do i need a BIOS file for all the emulators, or is it really just an issue where "some roms work with some these emulators, and some roms work with those emulators?"

In which folder do I have to put the BIOS files? And do I have to unzip them or are zips like neogeo.zip just fine as they are?

Hello guys;

Anyone knows if is possible to play with two classic controllers and ignore the gamepad as a player 1 controller?

I would like to use the gamepad only as the screen and be able to let player 1 and 2 use the same controller style (Classic Controller).

Something like this:
f4fxgw.jpg

I love to play on the gamepad, but for a serious match is better to be in equal terms or let the players chose the best controller for them and avoid excuses from the loser...

zL
I can't figure this out either. Can someone please help?

Leave them zipped. For negeo just put it in the same folder as the ROM.

I've only tried this with 2 pro controllers but wii classic should work too.
First turn on "all users control menu" in input settings.
Use a controller other then gamepad, then go to "Input User 1 Binds"
Set device index to your controller. (you may lose input on gamepad)
Then go back the "Input User 2 Binds" and set the device index to your controller. then load your game.

Man that sucks. My son played it at his other parent's house and really enjoyed it. I've never played it myself. Was hoping we could together this weekend.

How about Golden Axe on MAME/FBA?

Yes but why play the inferior Nes versions as gauntlet 1 and 2 Arcade versions work in mame they are also much better than legends

And mystical ninja is the only game im interested in. The only way to enter boss battle mode is to have a save with 100%

Golden Axe and Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder, both arcade versions working on mame.
Played Golden Axe on MAME. Finally got it to work this time. Downloaded the romset you mentioned earlier.

My son is excited to play Dark Legacy this weekend. Thank you, everyone

Isn't the arcade port better than the console versions?
