Gaming Dragon Quest 8 - savegame

Hey! Does anyone have a savegame somewhere around after fighting the kraken thing on the boat and reaching the town for Dragon quest 8? Or anything at least close to this point in the game. I lost my saves and since I don't really have much free time at the moment, I would really like to minimize the amount of backtracking on my games. I can download the game as CIA or .3ds, depending on what types of saves are available. Thanks a lot to anyone who can take the time to backup their save.

Yeah I get that, just thought maybe the saves would be linked to a console somehow, so the request would be futile. Atleast there is hope lol, thanks.

Yeah, I downloaded it as a .3ds yesterday, hoping I could skip some of the backtracking by using XP and movement cheats. Sadly they always crashed my game, so I am still looking for a save file.
