Generally emulation is completely dependant on CPU strength and graphics has nothing to do with it. Some newer emulators offset some of the work to the graphics, but the lions share is still done by the CPU, so any computer/laptop with a strong enough CPU and integrated graphics will do well.

And to answer the other question, Radeon 7500 is a very old graphics series, clocked at 200Mhz with up to 64MB of VRAM. It's fine for playing games as old as Quake 3, but newer games will struggle on it.

My opinion. Nvidia is better than Radeon.

Context gives a lot... the Radeon 7500G is not the same as the Radeon Mobility 7500. The 7500G is from the Trinity APU series and clocks up to 424Mhz with 256 pipelines (as opposed to just 2). It should be capable of all light gaming.

The CPU however is not very strong at all. I remember reading that PS2 emulation needs 3Ghz minimum, and the A6 only does 2.1Ghz, not to mention that AMD has far less IPC than Intel so 3Ghz from Intel gets much more done than 3Ghz from AMD.

I don't know for GameCube emulation (never tried, I have a Wii for that) but handheld emulation should be fine.

I have a 4.4 ghz i7 that sometimes stutters when emulating a ps2 it's just the nature of the beast. You will be able to emulate older consoles no problem, give it a go the worst that will happen is it doesn't run or not as well as you would like it to?

It also depends on the PS2 game, FFX runs full speed on something with around 2.4 GHz just fine, maybe even dual core or some single cores can run it decently. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 however, you'll need a better CPU. 3 GHz isn't necessarily the minimum, but recommended

K it is a dual core. I believe accelerated graphics. I guess I will try. I saw someone play black ops 2. It ran little clunky. So I'm assuming older emulation might run better. And yeah all emulators sometime lag. Thanks everyone for the replies it helps alot

Let us know how you get on, there are a lot of tweaks you can do with emulators.
