If I install both snes9x2010 and CATSFC as SNES cores, which one will the Retroarch.hmod default to when playing SNES games? I'd like snes9x2010 as default with CATSFC being assigned to specific games in their command line (e.g. Yoshi's Island) --- is this possible?

I'm having the same issue. I have about 80 total games, 30 nes, 3 cps2 games, 10 snes games, 8 gb, 8 gba and a few others.

I start the sync and get the "too many roms" warning. I go through like normal, red light goes out then continues. About halfway through the red light wont go off. I continued anyway and when it finishes I'm missing like a quarter of my games.

I'm pretty sure that I haven't exceeded the space limit.

@XXwillisXX, @nesito, any thoughts?

I have my cps2 games on the top menu not in any folders. Everything else is in folders. Should I put the cps2 games in their own folders? Should I just use the default folder structure?

Please help. I want to actually play this thing, not continue to mess with it.

I have my CPS2 games in a folder ( 3 of them) plus 76 NES games in a folder separated equally in 3 folders , about 15 SNES games in a folder and like 6 genesis games in a folder

It's simple. Add the catsfc to cores. Go to bins. Copy snes folder and rename it to anything you want like Sness. Go

Yes you can it's not hard either.

So, maybe my images are taking too much space? I have a similar structure but halfway through the sync the red light stays on.

Quit trying to use CATSFC use SNES9x2005 instead. It is the updated version of it and works better on the mini than SNES9x2010

Thanks for the tips!

it would happen to me too . I had to fix the file structure . for example the folder with my SNES games I had it selected and I had to click no folders and I had to do that for each folder of games except NES I selected separate equally because there's 76 games

@pcm720 has anyone tested out Neo-Geo Pocket Color, or Atari Lynx? (just thinking of other old school consoles with favorable control schemes). Both of those systems have small game libraries, so maybe these would be good cores to add?

seems impossible me add CPS2 games, just tried adding marvel vs capcom from other source and using other method

'''Here's what I did to get it working:

Added mvsc.zip (picked mvc.01)
copied mvsc.zip to CLV-U-TETPG folder (yours may be different)
deleted mvc.01 from CLV-U-TETPG folder
edited the command-line arguments like so:
/bin/cps2 /usr/share/games/nes/kachikachi/CLV-U-TETPG/mvsc.zip''

still did not work for me

I tried syncing, red light off then back on and wont go off again so sync is failing. It every time I try adding cps2 games

Where you downloaded the retro arch hmod you actually need to download source file zip instead. It will give you access to the bins and cores etc. download that and unzip it. Click into retroclover folder then move retroarchhmod folder to usermods and delete your previous one. It's then easy to do. Just a few things after that. Do you know where to get cores?

Is it from Libretro? I downloaded a few that some of you discussed to be better cores. Okay, I'll get the source files later. Thanks a lot. :)

Quick question, okay so i got nestopia running for all my games ( Thanks for the help everyone and the overwrite core pcm720!) but i can't seem to make the 16:9 video format change stick. Like i have to press start+select in game and change it every time. Is there any way to make it stick? I tried changing it then saving the config file but it doesn't take :/
Not a major annoyance or anything but it'd be nice if i didn't have to change it every time i want to play a game lol.

You are correct, I was overlooking that I'm sorry. Dont know what to tell you, I am currently in the process of trying to get some cps2 games added as well. Wish you the best of luck
