That's the first Android phone running 4.1.

Do know that stuff are different with the 3DS, plus O3DS has 128MB of RAM and 8MB of Video(not sure about this one, if someone can correct this, I'll be happy :) )

Plus, one thing is that it can run Android, and another is the apps :3

Well, the o3DS has 128MB of RAM, but the G1 has 192. It's not much more.
The o3DS has 6MB of VRAM (ouch).

It is *definitely* possible to run Android on a 3DS. Is it useful? Probably not beyond the "Hey look I can run Android here".

That's an extra 50%. It's not insignificant, especially on a memory-hungry Java platform.
I'm aware of that. It is definitely possible, though. Again, it may be as useful as running Windows 95 on a PSP, but who cares?

The 3DS' GPU sucks extremely hard. It's barely compatible with GLES 1.0 plus a few propietary extensions. VRAM isn't that much of a deal breaker though, since the GPU can quickly copy data in and out of it.

This raises another, more interesting question - Is swap memory possible on the 3DS, assuming you're on CFW ? This alone could break wide every N3DS exclusivity (due to the added RAM allowing them to run), while making every 3DS game running better due to more RAM, even though losing the same amount of memory on your SD card could be a problem to some. It could also help emulators.
Swap isn't nearly as fast as RAM.

This dosent exactly sound possible without a fully custom OS, and it kind of does this already.

But then again, games like smash would be using way too much of the system resources to have multitasking effective anyway.

They were so busy thinking that they could,
Nobody stopped to think if they should

3DS games wouldn't just magically be able to make use of additional ram; they're coded with the constraints of the console in mind so they'll only ever use the amount of RAM available to the main system.

Theoretically swap could help out with multi tasking, but your logic is again flawed. Performance would suffer massively using swap as SD cards are *way* slower than the built-in RAM, plus you have the overhead of swapping.
