Does anyone have any idea how to bypass this annoying feature? I never play with my clock and never touch it even during daylight savings or summer time but I found a shortage in my system that every time I accidentally twist or bump it my system acts like the battery came out so having to set my clock is not a problem but this annoying 24 clock base wait is very annoying due to the timer never cancels out after another accidental power loss.

Correct the time using Config.cia's "raw rtc adjust" option!

And/or, well, try to fix the base problem: you'd be surprised at how much just removing the battery and cleaning the contacts can help!

If you don't want to lose your clock while your 3DS has battery removed, plug it in before you remove the battery.
Not the kind of problem I'm having.

....... So I have to just wait out the 24 hour thing again and again Everytime my system loses power because of being bumped or twisted? It's mostly when it gets accidently bumped witch I'll have to get that fixed but all I want to do is bypass that annoying feature so I can go back to playing most of my games that use that annoying feature. Because for some annoying reason I cannot get streets passes anymore because of that 24 hour wait.
No, it's a nintendo-copyrighted tool from the SDK. You have to find it yourself because it is nintendo-copyrighted and nintenodo-copyrighted content isn't allowed on this site by this site's rules.

Oh okay I'm sorry then. I'll just put my 3DS up and wait 24 hours and hope to god it doesn't do this to me again. Sorry about this post, I didn't know it would come down to this.

Yeah didn't see any results at all so I'm officially calling this a lie if you really calling this illegal, a few people already done told me about this and after trying this it didn't do anything at all except for set the clock the same way you do in system settings. To me this is just another short cut to system settings and there for is very useless to me. To be honest I thought the freéShop was more illegal than this because this config.cia didn't do anything than expected. Not even version 11.4 or the first.

Just saying this is a total disappointment and a waste of time for me so I'm just gonna attempt to repair my battery compartment and avoid this time base events lost again message.
Well I never said anything was going to work, I just pointed out how to get config.cia. Also freeShop isn't illegal as it doesn't contain any copywritten material, you have to get the encTitleKeys.bin(this is the illegal file) and those aren't found on here and aren't included with freeShop. Config.cia is also copywritten material so it can't be shared or linked on here. It's not what the software can do, it's what it contains that makes it legal or not.

Anyway, your battery is loose, try to secure it better. Wedge a piece of paper on the side opposite the terminals and use electrical tape to secure it even more. I don't know what you want us to do other than make suggestions. You haven't provided pics or a video to show us what's actually happening. Post pics of your battery contacts and battery terminals so we can see if they're dirty or bent. Or don't I could care less.

Also, next time don't call people who tried to help you liars and insult them by saying we wasted your time because it's quite the contrary.

*Facepaws* I'm sorry for all of this,

After 79 failed attempts and tests later I figured out what I was doing wrong and I'm sorry for my actions here.

On the other hand I would upload videos or pics but I have tracphone and my mobile data is running low so I'm really no help there.

Apology accepted.

Care to share what you were doing wrong and how you fixed it for anyone else that ever has this issue? That would be helpful. :)

Turns out I was using the old version of config.cia instead of the new one ( version 11.4 ). The old version was missing raw rtc instead of the rtc in the raw rtc settings.

My second mistake was just now noticeing that when I edit the raw rtc time it changes the system time below in the rtc below the raw rtc.

After noticing it worked the only other problem I had to correct was to launch and exit out of every game that uses clock base events so they will save the current time setting, but first I had to set me time and date back 2 days back before launching the games then set the raw rtc 2 days back to the correct date then relaunch the games and all was fixed.

Good thing to thought because I was working on figuring this out passed 1 am
