Yes, you heard right. It is possible to load an infinite item hack on the latest 3DS version for those people who still want to be item hacking kiddies. This requires hans in order to work as it patches the game's executable file. This was an experiment I tried with porting Gateway codes to a format which can be patched into a game with hans. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as well as I was hoping it would, but it still is pretty decent. This will allow you to use infinite items online and offline.

That means I can use these cheats to win every race I'm in, right?

Well, there's a catch. I disabled the function that allows you to finish a race, therefore you can't win with this patch even if you tried :P

How do I install this?
Simple, just extract the file inside the zip and place it into your hans folder that is located in the root of your SD card. When starting up hans, make sure code patching is enabled as well.

Is it region free?
Nope, rev1 US only. Too lazy to port to other regions and versions.

Can I get banned for using this?
Probably not lol. I take no responsibility if you do though :P

Update: 2/14/17
Fixed some annoying issues with button pressing and having to hold buttons in order to get the item. You now only have to press the button once in order for the item to stay activated.

Known Issues:
- Item hack not working. (Usually caused by memory addresses shifting when loading other files such as a romfs alongside this patch.)
- Freezing when loading a race. (It happens to some people. May also be due to memory addresses shifting. If you experience freezing, please let me know.

What are the button configurations?
D-Pad Right = Triple Red Shells
B + D-Pad Right = Triple Green Shells
D-Pad Down = Bomb
B + D-Pad Down = Blue Shell
D-Pad Left = Thunder
B + D-Pad Left = Bullet Bill
Start/Select = Lucky 7
B + Start/Select = Star

Most people didn't know but you can get 200cc-9000cc with HANS I won't say how for obvious reasons
But thats how people were FTWng with Speed hacks nothing else

Does this act as a no disconnect code?

It's easier to use NTR/Gateway for that...

But did you do that in HANS format to not show the code ?
Well then let's start the ARM decompilation :P

oh nwm it's true that 11.3 can't use these
