Yes there is, if you go get SuMo Cheat Menu (get the one for the N3DS or O3DS, depending whatever 3ds you have) and install the Plugin. In the Misc page there should be something along the lines of disabling NFC for debugging, switch that on while in the festival plaza, then simply exit out and you should keep your internet connection allowing you to use Input redirection.
