What what point in the installation process can you start closing the 3ds again? (when your on 2.1)
k im still prepping for a9lh (damn screwdriver and microsd) so about how long do you stay on 2.1?you can close it once you are no longer on 2.1
(if it's turned off that's okay too, but just don't risk it. Get off of 2.1)
This risk is only for n3ds btw.
Not long at all. After you run the website exploit, and install a9lh - you restore your old nand, and bam, you're done with 2.1.k im still prepping for a9lh (damn screwdriver and microsd) so about how long do you stay on 2.1?
ok one more thing at the beginning to the guide it says take out the sd card while on the homebrew menu to put in decrypt9, safehax and fasthax, can i just do that before hand? like when my ds is turned off?Not long at all. If you do it right, you will only be on 2.1 for a few moments.
theoretically I don't see why not, but just follow the guide. Plailect writes what he thinks is the best route - if you follow his guide, you should do what he says. No cutting cornersok one more thing at the beginning to the guide it says take out the sd card while on the homebrew menu to put in decrypt9, safehax and fasthax, can i just do that before hand? like when my ds is turned off?
is it safe to take out the sd card on the homebrew launcher though, cuz i can see how it would be kind of stupid to considering all the stuff homebrew loads from is on the sd cardtheoretically I don't see why not, but just follow the guide. What part are you referencing exactly? Mind quoting it for me?is it safe to take out the sd card on the homebrew launcher though, cuz i can see how it would be kind of stupid to considering all the stuff homebrew loads from is on the sd card
but can i still just put the files on THEN launch homebrew? The launcher is loaded into the memory, so it's fine
