I think it would help a few people, but keep it to one post, then just edit that one to prevent multiple posts and spammed notifs.
I don't know if i am inpatient or not (which i am) but if i edit my posts, it looks like nobody notices. So i make more posts to make sure people know that i exist.
I will try this tomorrow. (or the day after, or possibly even an week after)

I mean, just SAY you'll edit it in. People know you exist as you are the OP, the personal normally WITH the issue (as in, your 3DS :D) so people will check it, and it can be used as a reference so people can point out what you did wrong, continuously posting won't help you.

Yeah, I watched it, the only thing I can think of is reinstall the whole CFW, but I have a feeling you've done that already. If not that's the only thing I can suggest. More advanced users on this forum may be able to help you though :P

In your video, it says "And then I press Start". I imagine that this is a mistake, and that you meant "then I press Select", but on the off chance you actually did press Start, try actually pressing Select. Pressing any button other than Select will cause your 3DS to shut off.

So he was pressing start all along. Well.
In my opinion the installer should say something like "Shutting down 3DS because you pressed another button instead of Select.." for a second or two to make it a little bit more obvious that you pressed another button. :)

Mhm, but doesn't it prompt you to press select in the first place...?
Glad you fixed it though :)

The Start and Select buttons are two buttons that are right next to each other. The text next to the buttons aren't the most obvious either. I guess i pressed the wrong button because i was shaking the whole time and was scared.

I can understand that because of course, N3DS is different to O3DS, but like I said, atleast it's fixed now and you should be able to continue installing CFW. It's fairly easy from then onwards.
