Hacking Sudden eShop unban?

I managed to update Pokémon Moon. Did anything change for you guys?

you can download anything and everything from the eshop as long as you have the ticket for the title installed. Banned or not. NNID or not. By having Pokemon Moon installed you have undoubtedly got the ticket and therefore you can download the update.

Do you know exactly what info he updated? And did he do anything else to your 3ds?

When entering eShop at first I received an error. Same for updating. Then I went back again to the eShop and he 'updated some information', and I regained access. Not a troll, don't know what happened.

@Krakatau but the questions are: Have you a NNID? Can you create a new NNID?

Some days ago, a strange thing happened to me too: I was able to update a software (Pictochat) directly into Home Menu, pressing Y, but then I "lost" my NNID (and all software I bought) - like it was disconnected, and I can't reconnect it because I'm banned. Hopefully, I had a NAND backup with my NNID linked, after I restored it, I have again all my purchased software and themes

I have already told you guys 022-2812 is a DeviceID ban from NNID server, which only caused NNID settings & anything triggering NNID login unaccessible.
So if you doubt (1) if your console is banned (2) if OP was telling a lie, go System Settings -> NNID settings to see whether it's accessible or not.

Yeah this is a troll guys just tested it out on my unbanned o3dsxl and it gave me the ban error when trying to make a new nnid.

I don't understand why people say he is a troll. He just said he might be unbanned because he could access the e-shop. He even included a ? in the title as in "Am I unbanned??". Sheesh people, don't be so quick to judge if someone is a troll. :/

Ok so your not trolling, but did he touch any system files? Or can you ask how he did it? Because I doubt Nintendo would just outright unban confirmed pirates
If he had his 3ds too, he probably swapped out localfriendcode.bin thing and put it onto your system, thus leading to an unban

We only said he was a troll at first due to 1) he just said friend just " updated some info" and 2) the lack of a response when we actually questioned him. That would immediately plant the troll seed in anybody's mind, especially for something as important as bans

I would agree that the lack of any information is very miss leading. It's your call though, look at it anyway you'd like

Anyways I think if the OP is not responding and this thread is just a list of complaints and the same questions of "Can you create a new NNID?" and such, this thread should be locked.

I used system transfer to get rid of my eshop ban (went to the other DS but, meh). That fork of Luma that makes your device ID 000000 I used that after injecting a fresh nnid, and LFCS. Then restored the stable Luma and did a regular system transfer. I got a new friend code, and was able to make a new NNID. Now my DS is like it was before (the other one is still banned). So far that is the only way I have seen to get rid of it for sure. I highly doubt a device ban would just magically disappear since it's not an ID ban, but a console one.
