Hardware o3DS doesn't recognize any sd card

Hello everyone! English it's not my first language so if there's any error sorry.

Yesterday I was playing like always in my o3DS, I left my console on the table for a while because I was in the PC.

Later I tried to power on the console and I got an error message the message was something like "Can not display programs from the sd card. Could not access sd card" so my first thought was the sd card it's corrupted.

I put it on my PC and I had to format it because windows couldn't access it I did a chkdsk after the format and it gave me 0 erros, after doing this I place the sd card again in the console and it shows "The sd card was removed. Press HOME to return to HOME SCREEN". I tried with different sd cards but the console doesn't want to recognize any...

All the sd cards are formatted in FAT32, last sd card I tried to place it without any filesystem but it didn't work.

Have you thought of blowing the sd card slot? Could be some Dust (It happened to my Sister's 3DS )

Yes I did! For every sd card just in case x).
But it didn't work neither...

it is possible that you were using a knockoff or generally just badly designed sd card thats just slightly thicker than it should be, which could have bent the contacts apart just enough to lose contact with other carts.

have you tried starting the console while pushing on the sd with your finger (either putting on pressure from above or using your nail to lift it up just slightly) to see if it makes contact?

other than that, it could very well be a hardware issue. has it ever fallen into water, do you live in a very dusty environment or in an area with very high humiditiy?

take a very close look at the contacts of the original sd card. does any of the contacts look scratched up, bent or differently colored?
and have you taken a flashlight to the sd slot and checked how it looks in there?

No, my 3ds doesn't know what water is, about the dust not too much around here and where I live there's some humidity but is not a big deal.

About the contacts they're fine, a little bit scratched but the usual not too many.
And the sd slot from the 3ds seems to be fine.

any family members that could have dropped the 3ds by accident?

i mean, its not entirely impossible for some hardware defect to come through, but it seems unlikely that it would only affect the sd slot.
a cable inside the console could have gotten lose or broken as a result of previous attempts to open it up (did you get it used?), being dropped, or some faulty part thats been there from the start and finally gave out.
if its not hacked or otherwise been tampered with, and if theres some kind of warranty left on it, you might consider sending it in to nintendo.
otherwise, besides trying to blow out the slot with canned air and using contact spray (spray a q-tip with the spray and carefully clean the sd card contacts, making sure to leave a small film of spray on the contacts, putting it in the console a few times, repeat that once, then use a clean qtip to dry the contacts) i don't think theres much else you can do anymore.

I'm the only one who use the console and yes, I dropped it to the floor but always worked after the hit.
I'm going to try to clean up the sd slot and I tell you something, anyways thanks for the quick answer!

easier just to buy a new sd reader and install it rather than cleaning. takes about 5 mins. (you will probbaly spend longer looking at this thread than swaping the sd reader) very common fault on 3ds

Okay, I clean it, but it didn't work neither, the console isn't in warranty but I will check the prices.
