yes i know that it has no brick protection and that you should always install a9lh for brick protection and this could screw up sysnand with one bad file but i propose that if this is created an emunand is forced so you cannot use sysnand so a 0.001% chance of bricking sysnand and this could be used be with the new menuhax 11.1-11.2 for semi auto boot of luma by setting the button to boot menuhax right on the dpad an then setting boot when menuhax when this button is not pressed for semi auto luma boot and being able to boot stock sysnand by pressing right dpad.

and to get fbi you would inject fbi to health and safety on thath emunand then installing fbi, rebooting and launching decrypt 9 and injecting the stock health and safety.

I thought he just wrote a guide about using Luma without installing A9LH. I didn't really read through it before it was deleted, but I thought it just involved using Safehax in place of something like Menuhax. Is that dangerous?

Unless I have a serious misconception of safehax (and I really don't think I do), I fail to see how he was the direct causation. We gonna start blaming Plailect for idiots that close their N3DS on 2.1 now? Not to mention that when it comes to any of this the end user assumes any sort of responsibility for whatever may go wrong. They're not forced to follow a guide.

Nah, he didn't brick anyones 3DS, the people who checked out the thread originally including me voted on the poll saying "my 3ds bricked" just so that people wouldn't do it. Check out an archive from the comments section of the post I made on the 3D shacks subreddit.

I linked what he wrote just above lmao. Its risky and extremely unsafe and he posted it without testing it first (cough). You mentioned Menuhax but his guide was supposedly for people who were "too scared to go for a9lh". If you install something fucked up on emunand, its okay, you can still restore a backup, but his guide was for sysnand luma without a9lh. If you fuck something up there, you're SCREWED. You have no way to recover your 3ds.

They might be irresponsible, but at least with a9lh you can recover from a brick, which is why it is recommended.

I read through the thread. I appears the poll was misleading. Regardless, making another thread based off his removed thread and calling it "theory," is completely uncalled for.

Thats not how this works. When you load luma with safehax, it has no brick protection, so something as simple as a cia download through FBI failing could brick the system.
