I just want to know if loading multiple content in a single session lead to a crash with last updates..as reported on knows issues from the first page of this thread.
Cause I' m testing finalburn cps1 and cps2 cores and everytime I load a rom when I enter the first time to the emus from hbl it loads normally, but then tapping on touchscreen and returning to the emu with the "close" option of quick menu..then going to load content to run again a new rom it crashes everytime..
So I have to exit the emu and reload it again from hbl everytime I want to launch another rom.
Anyone else encounteted same issue?

Would like to know if these games/cores are working/might work

Killer Instinct
KI Gold
NBA Jam
Battle toads

Mame/MESS Cores!!!!!!
X6800
X-1 Turbo
PC 98
CD-I
Would love to see some of these mess emulators as stand alone cores is that doable? I don't know if mame that includes mess is even a working core, I'm new to the wiiu side, usually just use vwii retroarch
Thanks

Yeah I read through a lot of these posts I get it waiting for psx is 5 posts a page for 130 pages. You all know that there is wiisx for the vwii right I played mk mythologies and several other psx games on it seemed to work rather well.

Is it possible to use the retroarch injected into a virtual console, in sysnand?
What that makes no sense at all you want to inject an emulator into vc which is already an emulator??? what is the point of having an emulator in another emulator??? why not just use the installable retroarch files that can be found in another thread on this site

Hello. Im new to the Wii U mod scene. Ive installed homebrew channel, can load homebrew loader through loadiine.ovh, and have a few emulators with working roms. The trouble I am having is with fb alpha 2012 neo geo. I am trying to load king of fighters 2002 and nothing happens when I select to load from core. Maybe my files are in the wrong folders. My paths are sd/wiiu/roms/neogeo/. In my neogeo folder I have kof2002.zip, neogeo.zip, and uni-bios-32.zip. I also put neogeo.zip and uni-bios-32.zip in sd/retroarch/cores/system folder. Any advice would be appreciated. Im usually pretty good with these things but this one has me scratching my head.

Do like Haxchi, inject the retroarch so that it is executed in the home icon in sysnand

Sorry if I did not know how to explain, sorry, my bad English.

Don't know if this is mentioned but I downloaded a nightly mame2003 rpx and in bottom left its reporting 1.4.0 mame 2003 0.78. Sure it used to say 1.3.6 before but I don't see 1.4.0 available as a stable yet.

They might be just about to push 1.4.0, so I would recommend you to wait instead to try the 1.4.0 versions.
Also, the latest nightlies for Wii U seem to be somewhat off, they're >6MB in size, both normal and RPX versions.

A commit was made two days ago to fix the Wii U build, not sure what that means, maybe it has to do something with that?

https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/commit/b45c96cc189f08e67e564eea970c9e9c0d66e67a
That commit simply added a header to the build.
As to what that header does, I'm not sure, but they seem to be added for each individual core instead of the main libretro frontend:
https://github.com/libretro/4do-libretro/blob/master/libretro-common/include/retro_miscellaneous.h

IDK just trying to figure out what they're doing for the 1.4.0 release and why the builds are small ><
The size of the builds is what intrigues me, is that intentional or did they really squeezed the size that much?
If it's intentional then props to them. But only time will tell, and by the look of things it won't be that long now.

Do the builds work properly though? Last time I tried nightlies (a while ago) they were broken.
