Just copy images folder to

Didn't work, again. Can I also put the sound files in there?

I'm not sure. I just got the info from the officail thread. Unless I'm misreading it but I don't think so.
You can change the theme without recompiling by placing the images in the resources sub-folder.
sd/wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/resources/

the filename can be found on github, in the /data/images/.

@Boe are you by any chance booting the channel/rpx version? I think it doesn't work with the channel version.

Yes, I am booting the channel version.

I think there is a version of the channel which reads the resources from the /content/ folder of the installed title.
I don't remember if it has been officially implemented or if it was a fork of the main branch.

you could try to put your file in the content folder using ftpiiu everywhere, or wup server. at worst, it will not load them.

Hi! im sorry for my nooby question, but when i connect filezilla and ftpiiu everywhere, where can i find the channel? its downloaded in my system storage. im also using CBHC btw if that matters.

sorry, I don't remember the exact path on NAND.
Someone probably gave that path in HBL thread when the HBL channel was first released.
I could search, but I never installed anything to my console, so I can't just look.
maybe the path can be found in the sources on github.

But like I said, I don't know if it's already loading resources from the /content folder, or if it was a project to make it load from here on next release.
