Hacking Cannot boot my 3ds anymore

I recently decided to install cia everything was going fine as I was watching this tutorial video.Until the point where most of it was installed and the next step was to eject the and sd and delete 000008F and something else also . But then when I ejected my sd for some reason my 3ds went to the dashboard and I was on 2.1. At the time no one else I could see was having this issue so I decided to update my 3ds out of panic .And then the update bar filled up almost 100% and gave me the msg "an error has occurred hold down the power button to turn off the power , then turn it on and try again" Its been like this for days and I have accepted the fact that this is most likely bricked . But I wanted to see if anyone else has fixed this . And should I send this to Nintendo? Or am I better off buying a new one . Please just respond with helpful info I just want some information on this thank you.

OP, if you have a NAND backup then restore it with Hourglass9, and if not, then follow https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer

You better re-read the OP he updated from 2.1 to 11.2 the only thing he can do is hardmod or try to send it to nintendo.

@Quantumcat I think only hope here over hardmod is if a9lh was installed prior to update

What's going on? Your 3ds doesn't turn on any more? Or you can't update the console? Are you on N3ds? Updating N3ds while on 2.1 bricks. If your console doesn't turn on at all, you need a nand backup and hardmod. You can pay somebody around $50 to do it for you, or you can try it yourself. You've got nothing to lose, considering it's most likely bricked anyway.

will if he has a backup he can get a hard mod done and fix it..... I don't know why ever one uses video guides (big no by the way) and then does not take the time do do a lot of reading on written guides and asking a lot of questions before trying to hack there 3ds.

No, because A9LH runs before the nand is loaded. The OP never said if he successfully installed A9LH or not, which would be a very good thing to know now that I think about it! Hey, @TylenKiD did you ever successfully install A9LH? I think this is a good place to start and set up your SD card if you did. I know you can't start your console right now, but we're just setting up your SD card with that link. Let's hope you installed A9LH before updating!

That's why I asked , if he has A9LH installed, he needs to CTR Transfer 9.2.0 and done.

Or restore his 11.2.0 backup

bad news, you don't have A9LH installed.

You will need your Sysnand backup from SD:/Files9 and a hardmod to fix your 3DS.

No, but installing a9lh would prevent loading system; CTRNAND mount error if loading luma3ds and blackscreen/power-off if loading nothing I believe - so you wouldn't get to system to update [maybe update via recovery would still load]

I know dude, but nobody here asked if OP installed A9LH before updating, if he had A9LH installed, he could boot Hourglass9 and restore his 11.2.0 backup or in the worst case do a 9.2.0 CTR Transfer.
