I will buy original games but soon as the hacking will be possible then i will pirate the games.

Lol, but Gamecube games are that same price in Japan, it's just like Brazil.
But unfortunately, Wii U games are sometimes over R$200 ;-; And it's all Nintendo's fault for having abandoned Brazil. At least 3DS games are still cheap.
If Switch have GC virtual console ofc i will buy

but if it happens the way it is on 3ds you know its gona be awesome having gc vc injects, if melee doesn't get a vc release you know it'll be made real quick after injection is possible. although im interested in some fire emblem path of radiance o.0... but now on the go =D

I'm such a coward that I only finished path of radiance on easy. I would disinherit myself if I could!
Of course if it gets a VC on the switch I will rectify that!
(and there he goes buying the same game again, Nintendo you did it again)

wuss. I did that jankus on hard (well, when they let me). Many an hour were spent on failure.
I actually had to concede total defeat the first time I played through (on normal, I guess), because I didn't realize that it was required to get Ike up there in power to defeat the final boss. I hid him away from the front-lines too much at the start of the game and he was woefully underpowered for the final battle.

I'm wondering if GameCube games will have to be recompiled for the Nvidia chip. Though I don't know what the overhead is converting between the two architectures.

People talking about piracy as if Nintendo is going provide a free exploit with every Switch purchase. May I remind you that there's still no proper hack for XB1/PS4 3+ years old consoles, and while Nintendo may not be Microsoft/Sony, they're probably going to take further steps against piracy.

But if it's a thing, I'm probably going to do it.

Nintendo hasn't been able to prevent piracy on any of it's system ever created. It will be a thing sooner or later.

Yea i will buy new games along with pirating them. Mostly for homebrew tho since
the switch most likely won't be hacked for awhile.

Wow a majority of ppl right now say they'll buy games on gbatemp, but I'm sure once one is released, if we ask "who has the ROM/ISO loader installed" majority would say yes.

I will buy Zelda, and whatever other game would be needed for an exploit. If none is needed, even better!

@Ericthegreat GBATemp was built on piracy. Not what it's like today. Seeing that both you and I are from 2008 and perhaps earlier if youre like me who just lurked, you know that. Nothing has changed behind the scenes, just SJWs who joined after GBAs change in image.

Backups! Nevertheless they will also have bought the games! (Wishful thinking?)

Same goes to Microsoft/Sony until XB1/PS4. I'm all for this being a thing, but it's funny seeing all the discussions going when I'm sure it's going to be more than a year after the Switch release before we see anything close to piracy.

Take the 3DS for example, it was released in February 2011. Yet Gateway, the first PUBLIC tool that allowed piracy was released in August 2013.

I always buy games to support the developers, but I'm actually even more excited to buy them for the Switch. I was really happy to see that the new console will be using cartridges (MROMs).

I just love the feeling of having a cartridge collection over a bunch of discs. Especially when you end up with cool accessories like this:

I will buy some games, normally I buy ~10 games in disc (cartridges in this case) before the consoles be vulnerables.
Then I pirate games, if a game is good enough, I bought it.
In the last gen, I buy Chibi-Robo and Planet Robobot for 3DS and Captain Toad for WiiU after I finish the games "piratly"
