Hardware potentionally bricked 3ds

when i turn on my 3ds it immediatly goes to an error has occurred screen i already tried to boot into recovery mode but it only went to a black screen it happened when i was trying to add safehax and my ds turned off while on 2.1.0 is there a fix for this?

If you have a NAND backup restore it with a hardmod

I'll assume it was a n3ds and basically if the battery dies before it shuts down it will goto sleep to give the user a chance to save anything before the battery completely dies.

As @TariqSoftDev said do you have nand backup?

Look if you're using a N3DS then you're basically screwed without a NAND Backup, if its a O3DS do a safemode or cart update(If you're gonna post a thread be specific don't waste people time when they ask you what one you have when you could've posted it)

Are you sure you didn't put it in sleep mode? I turned off and on my o3DS many times after I performed the CTR 2.1.0 downgrade and it was perfectly fine.

Doesn't the console turn off completely when the battery depletes?
If you're in a middle of a game and the battery dies out, charging your console and turning it on, it will boot you back to the home menu instead of the game you were playing.

Removal of the battery is fine. Thats how you can get wifi working on a 2ds

I'm aware, but if the console is supposedly in sleep mode, isn't removing the battery gonna pull out the console from sleep mode?

It goes into sleep mode for about a second. Just enough time to brick a n3ds

Just as I expected.
Well, either OP has a NAND backup or he's SOL.
