Hardware How to record direct 3ds audio help!?

So I'm trying to help my friend record direct 3ds audio so when he plugs in the aux cable he has 3 options Mic in, Headset, Speaker out, and headphones. Which option do we choose for aducity to detect it?

For Microphone in aducity it says "Microsoft Sound Mapper" and High definition Realtek audio"

Probably High Definition Realtek Audio, but if Audacity doesn't detect any sound when the 3DS plays some, try the other.

i always found that some pc's wont detect the audio port unless its actually playing so id say turn the sound up and plug it in after launching audacity if youre having problems
