Hacking Slow freeshop download speeds

Hello. I have an old 3ds xl and sometimes i use freeshop to download cia files but why i am always getting 394KB/s max download speed.
I have a 20-89-Mbps internet connection i should get around 2MB/s second in freeshop at least.
I use a class 4 16 gig sony sd card. Does the card slow down anything?

best thing to do is select what you want to dl and leave it on over night

The super slow speeds could be because of:

1)Wifi card is a bit buggy and slow, but is to be expected. Ya know, nintendo cheap hardware and all

2)the write speeds on o3ds is capped intentionally, and i doubt its the software doing this, imo i think its the sd reader/writer hardware, and as far as i know, there is currently no workaround.

3)Could and most likeley a faulty sd card, try copying something big onto it from a pc. If it slumps after like a minuet or so, your sd is at fault.


Plus, yours is a class 4 anyway, so it might be slow anyway

Keep in mind that it is both downloading and installing at the same time and the 3DS is real slow at installing games.

In my case, I got better download speed using CIAngel than Feeshop, you could try using that one.
