you basically called me.
and reading once in your life helps.
i bet you didnt got your a9lh by plailect's guide.
you can barely read sht.
Okay, whatever I have followed the Plailect guide ever since the memchunkhax 2 exploit came out, and I have followed the guide more than ~15 times on ~15 3DS's, you actually don't know shit of what I do so stop talking shit about me

Yeah, my first install of A9LH was from the first guide of him, where you had to compile your own A9LH installer and to get the OTP, you had to downgrade sysNAND to 2.1(no CTR Transfer, you downgraded blindly like people downgraded to 9.2). If you want proof of this, I still have the necessary files from that first guide somewhere...(I think, I'll check my Dad's HDD to see if its there)

So don't go throwing shit that I don't read and I didn't use the guide at first.

Yup. I'll bet the users following videos on YouTube have never even heard of GBATemp thus not knowing about Plailect's guide being the only one you should be following in the first place.

So if you don't speak English you should just give up?

Yeah, Plalect's guide is the best, but there's nothing wrong with a well made YouTube guide.

Youtube guides get outdated, and they dont usually have as much effort put in as 3ds.guide.
And that's a good point, maybe someone should work on translated versions of 3ds.guide?

No, I've been the one suggesting pics for users that don't speak or understand English well and don't have a translated guide to follow. I never once said if users didn't speak English to just give up. I've been helping people if you haven't been paying attention.

It's true that they get outdated, but so what? Worst case scenario you spend an extra hour installing a9lh. Old methods still work and the uploader could add an anotation stating that there's a newer way.

The effort thing isn't really a point against the video guides. If the video guide is clear, easy to understand, and works, why does effort input matter?

YouTube guides should give credit for the tools used and shouldn't use ad links. This is the only valid point I've seen.

There were translation attempts before, but the guide just changes too fast to keep the translated versions up to date and if they're not up to date they're as good as the outdated YouTube videos. Which I honestly don't think is that big a deal.

That's nice of you, but you can't help everyone that doesn't speak English.

Nobody updates these youtube guides, thats the problem. Also, sometimes outdated methods can brick people and/or include risky steps.

I thought this thread was supposed to be over, you're all basically asking for @RiverPerson to come back and argue. Everyone's just repeating the same things, please end this before you all end up with warnings... So, please. Just let this thread die like it should, the point has been stressed enough already.
