alright so i didnt all the hacking thing like install custom firmware and now i am trying to connect online for smash and it keeps giving me a connection error even tho my 2ds is connect to internet

Got it. I just saw that it's not just the game, but the whole system. Do you maybe have a firewall in your modem?

Try to connect to the router again, reset the connection in settings and type everything back in.

That's definitely the latest. The problem is not with your 3ds, unless you changed your password to the router since you set the internet up.

Set up your connection again.

You can always try doing a ctrtransfer 9.2.0 and then system update and see if that fixes the issue.

Do you have a friend's house you can try it on?

Also I don't recommend doing the ctr transfer at all. If anything just restore an old backup nand.
