Continue the guide until you install a bunch of cias, after that you can boot homebrew launcher and grom there 3DSident
Ok, I might just let him to it himself...this is too stressful for me lol. Or I'll see how it goes tomorrow but again, thank you so much for your help! At least I am at the home screen and it makes me feel much safer xD

From here, it is a breeze finishing the guide, nothing involves a brick risk anymore
 
Unless you got a particularly good price for it I think you should tell him he can pay $50 extra or you'll relist it (as modded, you can charge more - plus you don't want to give him the satisfaction of tricking you like this).

Yeah..about that since I don't think I'm going to charge him without letting him know first hand..and so I was wondering, is it possible for me to get this to it's normal state? I went into homebrew and noticed that a lot of files were missing and I don't want to deal with this anymore. I'm more likely just going to let him do the work because I don't want to risk having him receive in working condition and than he tells me "i messed it up". Don't want to risk it so was wondering if I can make everything go away and back to normal? Thanks!
