Homebrew Chances of bricking using fasthax for legit cias?

I was looking at the forums and found this guide: http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-legit-cia-on-n3ds-using-fasthax-and-fbi.455485/
It doesn't support o3ds so I can't use my o3ds that's on deathbed for testing and I would have to use my personal n3ds. Like the title said, What are the chances of a brick?

I wont be able to use my computer tomorrow because I have to do some stuff
and my friend (which wants me to install him some legit cias) wont be home tomorrow
so I just want to know the chances of a brick?

I've done this before with NASA so I know the basics of 3ds hacking. And bricking other things has teached me to follow guides carefully.

not likely (you dont exactly have enough privelage to do this) unless you mess with mcu

if I get a out of region legit cia (Zelda mm) and run it with the Grid launcher
1. will it work?
2. if so, How do I delete it?

? Gridlauncher would work though. It has Region4 caked into it. You can also delete them from System Settings, even though it doesn't match your region
