Hi I want to buy a Wii U with 5.5.1 with Xenoblade Chronicles X. But I read somewhere online that you can download "install packages" for Xenoblade Chronicles X that the game will load faster. Is that true? And can I still download those "install packages" when my Wii U is softmodded?

Yes, if the game is in a disc, these package contains some textures for making it faster in loading. An yes, while softmodded you can download packs
