I'm on 11.2 and iv'e heard of all the stuff you can do on 9.2,but sadly i dont know any people who already have a hacked 3DS...

So my only choice is to hardmod now.

There's a lot of risks and since i don't know how to hardmod myself i'm a bit doubtful,as i dont know anybody ''trustworthy''

So...should i?

Thanks

Hard mods even to the best skilled hands are till really hard on points that small
Please don't spread misinformation. 3ds hardmods are very easy. You just need a bit of soldering practice.

I've done quite a few. You're literally soldering 4 wires and one of them is ground...

You see, not everyone has those skills and don't like to own a expensive paperweight
I completely agree. If you look at the hardmod thread and feel you would not be able to do it, you're probably right.

What I'm disagreeing with is this statement;
"Hard mods even to the best skilled hands are till really hard on points that small"

It's just not true. If you have any soldering experience at all, hardmodding a 3ds is no problem. The points aren't "that small" and not much skill is required.

Edit: I guess what I'm saying is please check and see what actually needs to be done to do the hardmod. You're soldering 3 wires to pads on the motherboard and 1 wire to ground, which is easier than the other 3.

Very true, there guide here I'd vouch for. Although, flux splashes or things like that could be a problem a noob trying to hardmod would/could face.

Buy a high quality, low watt soldering iron and practice your soldering on some discarded electronics to get into the groove then give your DS a go. It ain't as hard as folks make it seem plus it's so much more rewarding.

Remember to wear your brown trousers!

it really isnt that hard?

I still have my doubts

mah lil bro :v is going on and on about black and blue screen of death and stuff like that

im definitely gonna practice on dead stuff first.

Its kinda like studying to be a surgeon :ha: you gotta open up dead stuff first so then you can open the live ones up and heal them! or at least make them have a faster death...

Yeah, it's not hard. Definitely check out those reddit links.

The soldering iron I use just has two settings and it works great on the low setting.

Have you looked at the guide?
