According to @Crystal the Glaceon ,
This cart work well with current CFW 3DS, don't have a kill switch. And working with R4 Wood Kernel.
Since this one is also work or DSi, I don't think you need forwarder and loader to be workingm but It should support.
May be someone need to do FAQ about this?Wood R4 supports Homebrew Reboot, multiple save files including using .sav and .nds.sav, and several other features from akAIO. The R4i-SDHC isn't a bad cart, but it is mostly a heavily modified DSTT clone.
May be someone need to do FAQ about this?
Not sure about the different, but if its package look like this one: http://www.r4isdhc.com/Someone near me is selling the r4i sdhc is there a big difference between that and the r4 gold?

Don't buy it. They have time bomb/kill switch that make the flashcards will stop working after a certain amount of time.
@gnmmarechal recommend, http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=146
The R4i SDHC carts are normally DSTT clones. Where as the R4i Gold is more like an upgrade R4 that can run Wood R4.Someone near me is selling the r4i sdhc is there a big difference between that and the r4 gold?
TWLoader is far away from being able to load >4MB games. It might not even happen.I'd wait a couple of days. Chances are, you won't even need a DS Flashcard to play DS games any longer
This is a good one: http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149just need a flash card to play NDs games don't need a dstwo.
I'm on a9lh+ luma on a n3ds
What are some good nds flash cards that'll work on my current set up.
Frankly, I've never had any issues with homebrew and commercial titles running with the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS, so I don't really consider it important to have Wood. The R4i SDHC carts are normally DSTT clones. Where as the R4i Gold is more like an upgrade R4 that can run Wood R4.
There's never really been too big an issue with the cart nor it's kernel. And at this point Nintendo has stopped blocking flashcarts and stopped making DS games, so there's no real focus on that either.Frankly, I've never had any issues with homebrew and commercial titles running with the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS, so I don't really consider it important to have Wood.
nds-bootstrap is already running >4Mb roms though.TWLoader is far away from being able to load >4MB games. It might not even happen.
Really, I must have missed that as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.nds-bootstrap is already running >4Mb roms though.

Disregard everything I said then.
I like akAIO's UI, though, I use akAIO on my R4 Ultra SDHC clone cart. It's nice looking. However, it doesn't seem to support booting the EZ Flash IV. So I ended up using YSMenu to autoboot akAIO, unless a button is pressed, since YSMenu seems to be able to boot the EZ Flash cart. There's never really been too big an issue with the cart nor it's kernel. I just recommend Wood R4 over most Kernels because it's based on the same Acekard source that akAIO was based on. So it shares almost all the same features and works with all of the same themes.
Of course other carts that current work aren't bad either.
Are you talking about the r4isdhc.com's one? What menu do they use? I've frankly never used one myself. r4i-sdhc.com's seems good enough.R4i Gold is the best that's still being made. Wood is fantastic, much better than whatever the hell the R4i SDHC uses. I accidentally ordered an R4i SDHC and it's sitting in a box somewhere unused.
"R4i 3DS RTS" from r4i-sdhc.com. The default menu was terrible, I don't remember what it was though. Last time I poked it, I seemed to have gotten YSMenu on it. You said you can use YSMenu to boot into akAIO? I'd be interested in hearing about that, akAIO would be fantastic.I like akAIO's UI, though, I use akAIO on my R4 Ultra SDHC clone cart.
