Hacking Ninjhax

I am about to get a copy of cubic ninja and install the a9lh hack by following the 3ds.guide website, it listed ninjhax as one of the exploits that will work, but when I go to the ninjhax website, I came upon this question in the FAQ:

No. ninjhax is a user mode exploit, meaning that we do not have full control over the console, and therefore cannot run pirated software. That being said, we have the same amount of access as regular apps and games to the console's hardware, and so we can make some kickass homebrew!

So foes thay mean I cant run 3ds backup games? I thought the 3ds.guide website stated that it will work and a9lh cfw lets you play 3ds backups?

ninjhax will only install homebrew, you need cfw to play backups

Yes the 3ds.guide is for installing a9lh+luma3ds[cfw].

Ninjahax is a primary exploit into HomeBrew Launcher - so everytime the guide says to enter HBL you can use ninjahax.

Ninjahax itself doesn't = cfw

Basically I'm asking which sys version you have because you might have to downgrade(highly probable) and cubic ninja isnt enough in itself to downgrade to 9.xx

You don't even need cubic ninja don't buy it, use browserhax its free to access homebrew, then install steelhax. I can guide you with browser hax even if you get updatenag

and yes you will be able to downgrade after that following the guide.

No your fine. On 10.7 the hbl entry point [ninjahax] is all you should need.

@theedge unless they gave the update nag and can't get around it. And I think you meant menuhax? otherwise you'd need to get steel-diver from the eshop, right?

EDIT: Browserhax is better if you're on 10.7

Well the thing about browserhax for me is that I dont have access to the router, I was following the guide and it tells me to block nintendo site but I dont have access to the router.

Hello mate, so I followed the guide on using fiddler to block nintendo, it worked great and my 3ds browser never asked me to update, and I scan in the qr code on 3ds.guide website to initiate browserhax, it directed me to http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php

I can tell it's working because the top screen of my 3ds has 9 cyan square and the bottom screen is yellow then orange, sometimes it turns grey, but after about 10 seconds, it goes back to the home menu and tells me an error has occurred, I've tried at least 10 times already, same error, I know I followed the fiddler guide and 3ds.guide correctly, so I don't know what is going on, any advice? Thanks

Yes you need to download the ropbin file for your 3ds from here http://smealum.github.io/3ds/

You then put it on the root of your SD and rename the file you just downloaded to : browserhax_hblauncher_ropbin_payload.bin

Make sure you dont rename it browserhax_hblauncher_ropbin_payload.bin.bin lol

After that the hax should work and you will boot in homebrew menu

Thanks, I did downloaded a ropbin file and renamed it correctly, I have a new 3ds and I accidentally selected old 3ds version instead of new, I think that was the problem, I'll try it again later, thanks again.

I have one last question though, in the last steps of the guide it says to reinstall tickets, I dont know what tickets are, but I just did it to complete the guide, so I did that install and delete all tickets option, then it asked me if I want to installing tickets from CDN, I just accepted it without second thought, and while it is installing the tickets, I read the guide again and it says I need to decline the tickets from CDN, so I immediately cancel the operation and try to install and delete all tickets while declining CDN but now there is no option to install and delete all tickets, did I messed it up? Are there any negative effects? Any ways I can go back and install and delete all tickets again while declining CDN? Thanks!
