I meant, that'd only be possible if you deleted the extra 24GB of games you have in there. You'd have to put those games on your USB, making your USB fill up that much faster. Your Wii U would be useless when the drive wasn't connected. If your drive breaks, you lose everything. By doing this you'd effectively be wasting 24GB of storage that you paid for, all to save room on an SD card that isn't needed for anything else. I just bought a brand new 128GB for loadiine, and now we don't even need loadiine anymore. But I guess I can put Wii and GC games on it now, so that's a plus.
Are you seriously saying we don't need to shrink the nand because of the 20 gb of space we are going to lose ?when you can easly hookup a cheap 100 gb drive that would be more than enough ...i don't mind sacrificing the internal space to get a rednand other than wasting money on a 64 gb sd card that could break anytime ,when in contrary you could get multiple 16 gb sd cards and have yourself different nands.

Very strange. Please try taking one of the other custom images from this thread which has been reported to work because I haven't had the chance to test that Kari one here right now.
Now I'm totally confused lol it was not working tried several times then went for a shower and got ready to head to work had a spare few minutes before I had to leave tried it again and now it's working perfectly so no idea why it started working anyway a huge thanks for the custom splash @lordelan

"Meanwhile a new bug was found with the initialization of SEEPROM and OTP dump on SD card where it was re-dumped to SD card on every launch of redNAND. So you basically had always the most current SEEPROM dump from the original EEPROM of the system on the SD card. I fixed that bug now and the ios crypto launch counter in the seeprom should be correctly incremented on SD card now."

So, does this new version fix the "NAND type not found" issue when trying to dump SEEPROM and OTP from the SD card using sdio_nand_managerv1.2?

That was no issue, mocha does dump SEEPROM and OTP, it just doesn't do it instantly at boot, that's why you should use SEEPROM2SD and OTP2SD if you want to dump them instantly.

When i launch rednand this happens :( someone know what happen?

Yes that's what I did I have even tried deleting Mocha from the SD card and freshly downloaded it back to the SD card with your image and I still see the default IOSUHax splash
I think it's a beug because you can't change the launch image if you console is ON, change your launch_image.tga when it's shutdown or start the HBL, launch the FTP and delete config.ini in mocha folder and launch now your Mocha CFW. Enjoy..........

@dimok's : Can't boot the sysnand or rednand when we force mocha menu, it freze...

Ive modded my Wii and vWii but I'm new to the the Wii U. Can anyone direct me to where a tutorial is for what all I can set up with this? What all does Mocha allow me to accomplish? I've setup mocha, dumped my nand, and can successfully boot into rednand. What now? Can I install a hbl now? (Without the ds vc purchase?) can I install vc games? Can I run backups of the sd or USB? Also how does rednand help me not have to worry about Nintendo updates? Details and/or links would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there. I have found this guide pretty useful:

https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki

It takes you through all the steps necessary to install Haxchi and Mocha. Since you can already boot into rednand, you may be interested in the "Brazilian Title Install Method". You can basically grab pretty much every title, directly from Nintendo servers, and install to your Wii U. This includes updates, DLC, eshop games, vc games etc. I strongly advise you to use USB for loading games... you can also use Loadiine to run games from SD cards but this is kinda outdated and brings some issues with several titles (since SD card reading speeds are much slower).

Thank you so much! This should be a great start for me. Very informative!
