Ok question...im on 11.1 Luma3ds if i somehow lost my arm9 access and cfw could i in theory (if my 4 swords or frunners isnt gone) just restore my A9 Nand to get everything back (freeshop DLs, installed cias, cfw, A9 all that)?

I also copied my dsiware to my SD from data management.

Yep, that's right ;) DSi Ware exploited games has raw NAND access: Dump and restore like a hardmod. Except DSi Ware exploits can't be launched after a brick.
Nintendo's so f*cked with DSi exploits I don't see how they'll prevent those

You can inject sudoku into ds internet and it will be their even without hacks and from their inject the nand restore program.
Rough guide;

Get your hands on the .nds for sudokuhax, fieldrunners, guitar hero or one of the other dsiware games with exploits. The .cia won't do; however, if you install the .cia then you can navigate to its install directory and get the .app there, which is the same thing.
Get the appropriate. sav exploit.

Go to TWLN:/title/00030005/42383841/content and overwrite the .app file there with your dsiware rom. It needs to have the exact same name, 00000002.app.
Write the save exploit to TWLN:/title/00030005/42383841/data as public.sav

The DS connections option in system settings should now be replaced with the game, and be able to boot the exploit.

Btw a N3DS updated without properly uninstalling a9lh will be a brick. So don't count on this method protecting you from that.

With only a nand backup, you would recover only your CFW + dsiwares (you could reinstall all you had though)
To restore all you have, you need to backup your SD's content too

I understood everything but the last line...dont update without uninstalling a9lh but i updated to 11.2 then nand restored back to 11.1 so that confuses me.

That doesn't apply to you right now. What he means is that you can delete a9lh but doing so and then updating will brick your n3ds. You need to properly uninstall it if you want to update.

If you don't plan on uninstalling it then you don't have to worry about that
