Hi, I need some help. I have a n3ds XL who had 11.1, with injected dsiware save. I patched the NFIRM and did the downgrade, but after it finishes it gives me the nintendo error screen (softbrick). I tried several times thanks to the recovery updater and finished on 11.2, but i still have my injected dsiware so i can do it again and again. My console is an european one and had received a system transfer from a o3ds ambassador. Some people on internet says that a formatting on the system can fix that, but i'm affraid to do it, cause if ever it fails again, it will result on a console without dsiware anymore, so i won't be able to downgrade anymore. I also did a NAND backup to restore it after installing a9lh if ever i can go through this. So do you think that i should format my system or ? Cause if it fails, i won't be able to restore my NAND and i will get stuck with losing all my data :/
Thanks and sorry if ever my english is confused sometimes, that's not my language ^^'

I dunno but it's not waithax's fault, I did its part without trouble, that's after SysDowngrader's process that if fails

Yeah, pretty much.
blablablaupdaters and blablabladowngraders to 9.2 have been always that unstable.

Yeah, you should format it.

"All variations of sysUpdater, not just sysDowngrader, have a very small chance of causing a “soft brick” once the downgrade is complete and the device reboots. This will cause the system to boot directly to the Nintendo error screen instructing users to power off the device.

The reason for this is unknown, but can be prevented by performing a system format before downgrading. It seems to happen very often on systems with ambassador status or who have DSiWare installed.

Once this error happens, it can only be fixed by using recovery mode (boot holding A + R + L + Up on the D-Pad) to update to the latest system version."
Straight from Plailect's.

Why are you using sysdowngrader? Shouldn't you downgrade to 10.4 with dgTool, then when 3dsident says kernel and firm are 2.50-11, you use sysdowngrader. I formatted before I went to 9.2, to avoid any errors.

You need to update with recovery, downgrade the native_firm using the dsiware and after that, format the system and downgrade using sysdowngrader.

Okay i did all of these except formatting, if I have a NAND backup, will I be able to restore it after all installing a9lh ?
