Homebrew a9lh black screen

Try removing the nintendo 3ds folder then. You may need to do another 9.2 ctrtransfer.

this is the wierdest thing i havent touched it in a little while then it decides to turn on and boot into the 9.2....

did this last time, ill let you know if it decides to black screen again

Np. You are probably already doing this, but if it black screens again, make sure to sit on the black screen for at least a min to give it some time. Large sd cards and first boot can sometimes take a while.

Any size works, honestly. I have a 200 GB micro sd in mine and it works fine. Just wanted to make sure you were giving the system enough time to boot. I'm sure you are, but figured saying it couldn't hurt.

its now frozen on the system updating bar without it moving at all for the last 15 lol. may need to test if i have a hidden update leftover from 9.9 l+r+up+a. assuming it doesnt break it again lol

Don't force power down again. Let it keep going untill it either finishes or gives you an error. Remember you're updating all the way from 9.2 to 11.2, AND the 3ds' connection isnt very stable. Sometimes it hangs like that while updating. Just be patient.

the system wasnt updated after 1.5 hours, no error and no bar moving at all, and i just powered it down, it black screened, then i restored NANDmin so there wasnt anything partial just in case. Black screened and then i tried deleting the nintendo 3ds folder and it didnt help. you still on discord?
