Okay what is a sysand, I know this is a stupid question for someone with so many homebrew programs on their 2DS already. Also I found out that I actually have 9.4, because I'm retarded. How do I open up a .torrent file? I can't get to the 9.2 downgrade folder, the link given for the downgrade instead gives a file of that type
Your sysnand is the home menu you first boot your 3ds on,think of it like the windows os of your 3ds.Once you have a9lh+luma on your sysnand you will have all piracy restrictions unlocked, allowing you to use FBI properly to install cia files on the home menu.

Okay, how do I even get the folder from the 9.2 file for the downgrade? It says the file type is .torrent instead of .zip after downloading it

Since you are on 9.4, you will have to begin from the beginning of the guide. The guide will, once again, explain everything.

That was the issue.

SysNAND is the native system NAND. NAND is kinda like your system files. EmuNAND means Emulated NAND, a fake NAND that runs over your SysNAND. EmuNAND is outdated, and you should not use it. Use SysNAND A9LH + LUMA3DS. The guide will get you to the point if you follow it to the 'T'.

Open up a torrent file with UTorrent, be sure to look around resources for a good Anti-Virus before getting UTorrent. Remember to quit UTorrent after it downloads. Do not just 'X' out of it, literally quit it. For a future question I know you'll have, seeding is nothing you need to worry about, it means your download is finished (for the purposes you'll use.)

How many tries does it usually take for the OTP.bin to appear a9lh folder?

EDIT: I got that finished, but now Luma won't boot up when I hold select when turning on the system

Okay, I can't even figure out how to access any of the homebrew stuff at all now. Luma won't load when I hold select, and I can't scan QR codes to activate browserhax, and my top screen is still distorted from the downgrade

Is the arm9loaderhax.bin file on the root(!) of your SD card?

If you still have menuhax installed (and set it to autoboot), that maybe your problem (as it's autobooting before A9LH starts).

Yes for the former, and for the latter I set it to activate via holding down on the d-pad like the guide said to do.

That's really weird.

Sorry I can't be any help. It's been a long time since I installed A9LH.

Was I supposed to drop anything from the Luma 6.6 folder? https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax I don't see any part that says to drop anything from it, even though it was among the things I was supposed to download. I just was told to create a Luma folder and add in the
luma updater

I mena use any content from the Luma3DS zip folder, all I see that was told to be put on was the updater, a9lh bin file, and the folder called luma
Press and hold Select while pressing the Power button. What happens? What was the last step you did of the a9lh guide?

The last step of section two. For the first step of section three, when I hold select it does nothing and the normal 3DS menu with a super-stretched upper screen loads, I can't even figure out how to activate the homebrew launcher now

Did you go to the URL and do what it said to do?

Yeah, it created the OTP file and I backed it up like it said to do, now that I was done with that I can't load Luma3DS or anything else homebrew
A) You can't use the Homebrew Launcher on 2.1.0.
B) Can you give a screenshot of your luma folder and SD card root?

The luma folder is empty except for the start_hourglass9.bin in the payloads folder. Was I supposed to put something else in there?

Can you at least boot into hourglass9 on boot? You're supposed to have a config.bin file in there, but that generates after setting up Luma3DS settings for the first time.

How do that? It just goes to the menu with all of the official programs when I turn it on, I don't see anything besides those and the stretched-out screen
