I still don't have my Wii U back yet but I'm glad to see the Wii U scene getting bigger day by day.
Don't answering my questionsThe new release is a haxchi installer directly on the Wii U console.
the updated version of haxchi supports multiple options by default it will load the homebrew launcher just like yours will now but it will also load a fw.img if you hold A while it loads and can set other buttons to load other things as wellOk, i've already have haxchi/homebrewLauncher on my homemenu. So the new release is just a shortcut to HL--CFWbooter (to have fw.img) ?
It launches both HL and fw.img ? If i want to use it i have to re-inject with wupserver ?
true this has been possible since version 1.5 of haxchi so i guess it would depend on when he installed it if he has 1.5 or higher he would just need to edit the configuration fileYou could already boot into fw.img/other apps with the older releases of haxchi, the new release is just an installer directly on the console itself
feature-wise this is equal to having v1.7, both v1.8 and v2.0 did not touch the core exploit code.Does this change anything since 1.8 besides the installer?
Yeah, just change "default=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf" in config.txt to "default=fw.img" or wherever you have your fw.imgCan I edit it to just launch the CFW img and nothing else? Since then I can install the Homebrew Launcher to my sysNAND homescreen with wup installer y mod (as far as I know) and after every Wii U but I just launch that DS game once (to have sig patches) and then either an installed game or the HBL, right?
a=fw.img
default=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf
b=wiiu/apps/wupinstaller/wupinstaller.elf
y=wiiu/apps/cfwbooter/cfwbooter.elf
while I dont really see a point in booting cfw booter since this has cfw booter included, sure.Can I add other apps like this for different buttons?
Oh it does? I sure am not update to date with all the Haxchi development. So that means holding a button goes straight into CFW-patched Wii U menu?while I dont really see a point in booting cfw booter since this has cfw booter included, sure.
