Nintendo absolutely did not confirm. The Level 1 people on the phone have no idea what to say. They also "confirmed" it was a 15 day ban to people as well. Means nothing.
Only a few reports probably from confused employees on 1st day of the ban said it was not permanent.
Most other reports from managers and highly informed Nintendo employees confirmed many times that their Japanese counterparts said it was permanent ban.
But of course, you can hold onto whatever hope you want, just keep your expectation right.

You are wrong..... G6 and above Pokemon game rom are basically the same for all region.

Seems not, as Nintendo banned some europeans users before the 23, which mean they have a way to detect the region of your 3DS (and probably also of the game).

By the way, Pokemon games aren't region-free (even if it contains all languages in all versions). If you try an imported pokemon game in a 3DS, the icon of the cart will appear (contrary to other games) but the game won't launch, which means the rom might not be 100% the same (if yes, the carts would be region-free).

Alright I will look for it somewhere else. Ok probably wiser if I wait for a full update of pkhex then :)

Merci pour les conseils l'ami

Not to mention I just read the pokebank would convert g6 pokemon to g7 version (which seems a bit different) so g6 pokemon from PKHex might not be compatible online (but they work fine in local mode).

The 0102 never was. We still need to wait and see, but the odds for this time been a perma is very high.

Yet nintendo told me themselves it is permanent.

Posting misinformational garbage. Nothing is confirmed.

Mmmm Don't be rude. Especially when I was told this by nintendo.

that's different thing.
Have you researched or try anything like cross region Pokemon rom test?

They can detect 3ds region of course, it's the info that most games will read.

But the game region?
Most games are region specific titles, they don't need to be detected. Like mh4u will get Eula error if you play it on a jpn console. Unless you edit Eula with the SDK app.

They are not region free because stupid ninty has to add a few bytes that read by the homemenu as the region lock. Do some research, you will know what I'm talking about.

Pokemon game is totally based on your console region. Since it's a global title. Pokemon company try to make it world wide and exactly the same(except package of course), but ninty has that stupid region lock.

They would of looked for the 3ds region as Sun/moon is regionfree.

Not really. It's like you guys saying they banned ppl with v0.

Edit: sorry, didn't read carefully.
They do detect your console region when you save is connected to PSS. It's in the save profile. And the truth is they don't even need to check the save… console send out hardware info the their server when we connected to it.. they just need compare the data we sent and set a time stamp for 3 different regions.

Is Pokemon Moon of freeshoop safe?
Are there any cases of a not banned person getting banned for using the freeshop cia online after the release?

Alright, last question then since the fact has been mentioned : do using the freeshop DL convert the game to the correct region (read : the console one) ? I'd rather take every step correctly so that my sister doesn't ban my 2DS by accident (I still intend to buy a copy).
