Hacking Entry point using game from eshop.

I have a N3ds XL with a9lh and i just got another n3ds with no entry point. can i use a game from the shop to put an entry point? or does it have to be a hard copy?

Apparently you can use eShop copies but seems more risky. If you go a hard copy you know it can't be wiped from a system format or anything. Probably go with OoT, you can get that pretty cheap around

except oothax is a secondary entry point and will need a hacked system or powersaves to install the hack

they should work the same BUT, you might not be able to install the exploit on newer FW till the PASLR bypass come for the new installer
