I had the greatest idea of powering off my system because i missed a step during the restoring the nand of my 9.2 2DS system, right after the ctr transfer. Now my emunand wont boot, decrypt9 wont boot. I can only access the Homebrew launcher, and I was doing the SafeAL9H by aurora. perks of having al9h are gone too cant use em. Had everything up to date, including the latest WIP for Decrypt9. I do have the Nandbin file. Is my 2DS bricked? and yeah, I'm a dumbass.

I don't think it's bricked yet. Does the 2DS blackscreen upon boot? If it does, according to the guide you should do a 9.2 CTR Transfer.

Did you actually restore your backup during the process? If not, you should still have A9LH + Luma3DS on it. Hold "select" upon boot and see if it opens the Luma configuration screen.

The guide says to use Hourglass9, but you said you were using Decrypt9. Hopefully you weren't using Decrypt9 to restore your previous NAND backup because there is a very good chance you chose to restore it and told it to not keep A9LH.

I was using Hourglass after i backed up the nandbin and 80% through restoring i turned it off, I can boot into sysnand and do stuff and boot from menuhax into homebrew launcher as well. I can't load emunand or decrypt9 as it refuses to boot, (blackscreen occurs) I did choose the options to keep A9LH I think, but i believe it wasnt a full restore so it's being weird and sh*t. my system says its 9.2 in the system settings and nothing happens when I try to boot with select or start (perks of a9lh) my problem is not accessing decrypt9 to be able to repeat the steps over again

Yikes, powered off during restore? That's new. If you have access to homebrew why don't you run 3DSident to check the firmware version your system is really on? And if you are able to run sysupdater maybe you can try 'downgrade' to reinstall 9.2 updates?

I wouldn't worry about A9LH at this point but check if you got a OTP.bin file in the files9 directory, make sure you aren't stuck with some weird frankenware first. You can also do the A9LH process again afterall

I've tried to update/downgrade using the firmware files, and it seems to make my system version 9.2.0-20E. The odd part about all this is that I can't boot into emunand (rxmode lol ik its hella old and run into the ground) or start up decrypt9. If I could i'd successfully restore to my old nandbin file and i should be sweet. the 3dsident tells me I'm on 9.2.0-20 and everything seems to be fine.
