It's been a long, long time since I've even tried to run a new game on my 3DS using the gateway card. I can't even remember the last EmuNAND I had if I'm completely honest, but I'm gonna try and give as much info about this as I can.
I just set up Pokemon Sun ready to play, all headers changed, converted to .3DZ and trimmed and needed to sort the 3DS out since it hadn't been used for a while.
So I'm still using (apparently) a really old method of loading into Gateway mode. I still use the Browser method. Turn off Wi-Fi, go to website, turn on Wi-Fi, click refresh and hold L to enter the Gateway menu.
It worked first time, and the only thing I really wanted to do was update my EmuNAND to 11.2, so I go to settings and in the bottom right it says 'GW3D Blah Blah' so I know I'm okay to update EmuNAND from here.
I click system update and the console says yep, that's fine all done. But it seemed to download and install so quickly that I have no idea if it worked correctly. I know I already had a new firmware downloaded and ready to install as everytime I boot up the 3DS it tells me.
So, I restart the 3DS, use the browser method but now when I hold L it doesn't load the Gateway menu anymore... It loads right into Gateway mode. Pressing select shows the list of roms, but the System Settings claims that the firmware is 'GW3D 9.8.0-25E', not 11.2... and trying to update the EmuNAND firmware, the 3DS just won't connect to the internet at all in Gateway mode but perfectly when first turned on.
I'm so confused.
I was a bit hasty, trying to install the new EmuNAND as I had the previous one over a year back now, so I'm just wondering how I can update the EmuNAND properly from here...?
All help would be appreciated!
