Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

YOU CANNOT HAVE A DIGITAL GAME INSTALLED BEFORE THE 18TH BECAUSE IT WASN'T LEGALLY AVAILABLE, THEREFOR NINTENDO KNOWS BY LOGICAL DEFAULT THAT ITS A LEAK.

Once the 18th passed, the cias re indistinguishable. Cart dumps are fine.

Not if you go online with a console generated header and the version string being v.0
You would go online with a cart in theory but the servers would see it as a digital download. These two things dont match and therefore you get banned.

A guy posted a few pages ago one to the Discord which contains this, but I think Nintendo will ban it and maybe ban other things in your 3DS.

IMO the best to do for ones with a single 3DS is wait the 15 days, and see if the 002-0102 online play ban is not lifted than buy a cheap 2DS for LFCS dump or a New 3DS.

The 022-2812 always was permaban, but can get bypassed if U care about eShop.

can you unban yourself using another public moveable seed idc if the seed gets banned since il just change it again and nintedo does not usally do these bans anyway it was because people where palying online early

If you unban yourself and they notice it, have fun with a hyperban and that one isnt really easy to get rid off.

Most likely a person that own more than a 3DS and wanted to see if Nintendo will ban the public LFCS, but this is too risk cause Nintendo can get really mad and ban other things in the consoles that are used to identify the console when online.

yea i mean that could be what happens. i'm lucky that i have my own seed so i probably don't have to worry. but something tells me nothing is going to come from this. i think the folks using the public seed will be safe. but unlike some people here who know everything, i'm not sure. so i'll keep my eyes peeled

I might be wrong on some points, but people that are acting dumb here don't realize this
- Cart dumps are always v0 because their update partition is left out the rip
- If you install it, you'll get a v0 game
- Gateway (and it's likes) users have v0 .3ds files but they use a HEADER to avoid being seen by nintendo servers as playing a v0 game
- freeShop gets the cia directly from nintendo servers so it has a version > 0

No, you don't understand, they are already banned, there's nothing much to lose. The bans are indeed hyperbans. We just found out a few days ago that changing said friend seed does indeed unban online play. It does not unban miiverse or eshop. Online play is what most people are concerned about
