Hacking reinstalling homebrew softmod still present on Wii

Hi Folks
I am new to this site I softmodded my Wii sometime ago when the exploit was Super Smash Bros, we upgraded it to watch netflix, which just wiped out homebrew channel. How would I go about reinstalling it again? "assuming" i don't have to remod since all the stuff still exists on the Wii itself just the HBC is gone, (lol)

UPDATE: also I'm pretty sure I used the Hackmii / Bootmii as the original softmod (I did this back in 2010/2011)

Updating your wii not only removes HBC, but also cIOS249 and cIOS250.

Use Willbrand to create the exploit for your 4.3 wii, and after that, use ModMii to update all your outdated cIOS-IOS.

first, he needs to re-exploit his console, using wilbrand or any other entrypoint, after HBC is installed again, then he can use ModMii to update.

cIOS 249 and 250 remains, but they become STUB, without INFO, therefore most of the loaders wont work.
So simply reinstall the HBC and use Syscheck2 + ModMii to update all you wii with the latest cIOS-IOS.

I'm getting an error and this site keeps crashing on me, my current error on the computer is " The Remote Server Returned an error 404 not found error downloading wiibrand.exe from googlecode.com

If yes, do me a favor, put this on your SD: http://www.hacksden.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=149&act=down&actionhash=guest

It should go something like this: SD:/Apps/Syscheck2/boot.dol

Launch HBC and Run Syscheck, it will generate a report on your SD called Syscheck.cvs, Can you please paste it here?

Yes HBC is still on there, I had ran into an issue I did like you said and nothing appeared I pasted the files on the SD Card and nothing is going Wifi symbol is blinking. On another note would it be easier if I just remodded I have Smash Bros game handy

theres no need, as HBC is still there, make sure the SD is FAT32 formatted, and the structure its SD:/APPS/SysCheck2/Boot.dol.

Run it, And it will load SysCheck 2, which will generate a report.

Ok so I found the letterbomb hack on a different website without physically downloading Wiibrand.exe so I don't need to do this and I have the wii back up and running and with USB loader gx

Modmii sets up everything needed to update. It also provides everything you need to start new. It goes through banner bomb. You can drag and drop the syscheck file in modmii and it will generate all the files needed and a guid.

Oops sorry it's letter bomb now.

Ok, ill explain once more alright? here i go.
Since you have already installed HBC, you need to install CIOS 249 and 250, since they were stubbed when updating. now, you dont need to use letterbomb nor wilbrand since those were the entry points to install HBC but you already got it.

Now, you need to install ModMii on your PC: https://sourceforge.net/projects/modmii/files/ModMii Installer.exe/download?use_mirror=superb-dca2
And you need to install Syscheck on your Wii: http://www.hacksden.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=149

On your SD Card extract the folder from Syscheck so the path would be SD:/Apps/SysCheck2/boot.dol create the path if possible or just drop the folder on the path that i mentioned.

Once this is done, insert the SD on the Wii, go to HBC, and launch Syscheck, it will ask to what to check, select ALL, it will read all the IOS, it will generate a report on the SD called SysCheck.cvs.

Copy the SysCheck.cvs file to your desktop, and open ModMii, the console Based one, don't use the GUI version. once the console opens write I Agree, then Write SU.
Drag and Drop the SysCheck.cvs to the console, and it will generate a list of files that will download and everything needed to install it.

Select Download.

And you will have a folder with som files, COPY EVERYTHING to your SD, insert it into your wii, and open HBC again.

This Time open MultiModManager or MMM depending on what appears on the screen, once inside, press the RIGHT DPAD, and select INSTALL ALL WADS, and there you go. Wii Softmod Updated. ;D

It definitely is working again, ty, i just used the nub downloader and reinstalled ios 249 and 222 thank you
