This is just a total dick move. Won't be buying anything Nintendo until switch releases. And they better hope my NNID works on it. Because I will light a fire under their asses. Already lost my purchases thanks to this crap.

I just spoke with a customer support supervisor from Nintendo America... from what she said, "legit game cart would not be able to access online function before release without anything done to the console"... I would assume that she meant that the console is modified with CFW... Just some questions to throw out here... Are those legit cart user that were banned using CFW or Original Firmware? What if Nintendo purposely built in a trigger in latest firmware to allow people with CFW to access online function in Pokemon Sun and Moon (regardless if the person is using a legit cart or dump)?

She also said Nintendo Japan have decided to issue PERMANENT BAN due to all the illegal activities and the ban is for console and NNID... She also gave me a few redemption code for games that I have previously purchased on my old account but repeated that the old account is out of access to anyone in Nintendo America... Only Nintendo Japan have the power to un-ban these accounts. I am really sad now that my Pokemon in Pokebank would stuck there forever...
i actually have a guy from nintendo hq in canada calling back to NoJ about these bans because when i went there earlier i got roughly the same thing and he offered me the redemption codes i told him no thanks if nintendo really wanted my money theyd unban me so for now ill just deal with everythingbfor free and told him i was off to refund my pokemon moon to go play the pirated version (had physical copy there with me) lmao he looked so upset about it too. (also before someone is like nintendo ninjas r gonna get you this is canada our legal system and judges dont give jack shit about piracy unless youre distrubuting or making profit so nintendo is SoL on getting me for this :^) )

So if we buy a Black Friday 3DS could we call Nintendo and they would move my NNID to it? I don't think my NNID is banned because I can access Wii U and miiverse still.

We need to figure out how to either fake a system transfer, or bypass the one per 7 days limit. If we can do this, an unbanned console can, in theory, generate infinite "unique" moveable.sed's. Any devs in here?

That should work, just don't mention the ban to them

I'm going to say I broke my 3DS or something. I'm assuming my NNID isn't banned though right?

They can tell that your NNID was associated with a banned 3DS. Depending on the representative/supervisor (I got transferred to a supervisor) you speak to I guess they may feel generous and send you an email with the details on how to transfer. The guy I had told me I broke the terms and conditions and that he cannot help me with the transfer.

So good luck I guess

So they won't transfer my NNID if they can tell it was on a banned 3DS? That's kinda messed up really.

I went online once with Pokemon Moon to try and get a mystery gift. I didn't get banned yet, but I sure had a lot of fun with Alpha Sapphire making level 100 shiny Magikarps with POKedit and releasing them in WonderShare. Shit is fun!

That's called being banned lol. you think you could log into gbatemp from another pc if you were banned?
My NNID isn't banned though lol. It doesn't bother me I'm banned I asked for it. Hell everyone that is banned did. And if I can't transfer my NNID oh well the switch comes out soon.
