Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

People, i just unbanned in 02-0102 (GameOnline, no the other ban (mii/eshop)) and play online again (mk7, gts and friendList) ...just use the metod of : extract secure_info_A, LocalFriendCodeSeed_B, of a non-3ds and DOWNLOAD the nnidsave.bin (dummy) (can be old,2ds,new) and inject with decrypt9 in your Banned3ds...and VOILA! play online again... remember do a copy of your Secure,Local and nnidsave.bin before inyect.

You do know it doesn't require you to update a game to play it right? it not like it tried to update, failed, then banned. like I said before. I played the leak since it came out. with an online system I might add. the only reason I didn't get banned was because I didn't use online features. the game even showed up in my friends list. like I said. you don't know what your talking about. you just take pieces of what you hear and put them together as some theory you pass as fact.

Sigh, I guess some of you are just really stubborn or really thick headed. And for the record, anyone on GBATEMP trying to hold the moral high ground about using a cart dump. I guarantee you have HomeBrew or CFW, else you wouldn't be a member here, those also void the ToS and are subject to the same consequences if you're caught. Anyone saying, "You guys are filthy pirates!" and "Just buy the game!" When in fact, most people have, while sitting on their sig patched CFW console is a hypocrite, plain and simple. There is no right way to cheat.

I have backups of my Emunand/Sysnand before I got banned does anyone know if I'd be able to pop that into my game, grab the LocalFriendCodeSeed_B and then unban myself that way? Or do you have to use a different DS?

It has to be different. it's the exact same file.

i dont know if yours backups works...i use an OLD3DS of my cousin (i use new3ds), but you can try with ur backups...and tellUs

Have you ever done a system transfer? You need a different/unique friendcode that your backups won't have otherwise.

Well then I think I'm out of luck there...I do have a chance though. I'm planning on system transferring from an unbanned 3DS with no CFW to my banned 3DS with CFW. If the CFW remains intact and I can dump the new movable.sed then I think I'll be able to unban myself.

The only problem with that is that we have no way to unban NNID that's safe as of yet and I have my NNID on that unbanned 3DS that has all my digitally purchased games.

So if for some reason the transfer messes up, or if I'm unable to unban myself I get stuck with no NNID, all my digital copies lost, and probably a banned and CFW incapable 3DS... Trying to do as much research as I can before then on how to do it properly and if it'll work I've got seven days to figure it out.

I recall seeing earlier in the thread some positive notes that those who had followed Plailect's guide ended up with different LFCS files, but I'm not sure if a connection to System Transfer had been made at the time. Did Plailect's guide provide a useful backup somewhere in the process, or is a System Transfer ultimately required?

There were a lot of useful backups but it was mostly if you got to an issue that softbricked your system...there was no System Transfer required in his guide.

No system transfer, unless you did the DSi downgrade of course.

Ha, as in "useful" I meant having a different friendcodeseed. But I assume that was either false, or there's no way to achieve that by tinyformatting now...?

Don't know if anyone has said this already, but after formatting my 3ds and reinstalling A9LH my 022-2812 ban is gone. I no longer get this error when connecting to the eShop or Miiverse as I did before - 002-0102 still remains I believe. DO NOT take this as some set method or something, it just seemed to occur.

Edit: 002-0102 still is there as expected, but 022-2812 appears to no longer affect my system.

Could I do anything with my emuNAND back up I made shortly after I first downgraded? Before then, I did do a System Transfer, but I'm 99% sure I didn't have Homebrew yet on my old system, before I made the backup.

Can you go to system settings and then nnid settings, and try to create a new NNID or link an old one?
