Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

I have, I've owned 3 consoles. Regular 3ds, n3ds xl, and my animal crossing n3ds.

They would just ban the spoofed deviceID, not the real one. Still, it's a crap fix.

Yes, but it's worse since it doesn't have a random number generator and is spoofing all deviceIDs to be 1234.

It may not be permanent so evading a temporary ban could very well lead to a more effective permanent ban. But yes, if 15 days elapse and the ban is still in place then I agree there's nothing to lose.

all it needs is a random generator however with the number of consoles; there would always be a chance at a duplicate CID with a valid consumer

I did the same. I'm having to redownload all my purchased stuff again through the eshop but oh well. If I can't get my NNID back at least it works on Wii U.
